Ep.12 What kinds of kids are we leaving for this world?

I love this quote from Sunit Kaur "I think it's time we stop worrying about what kind of world we are leaving for our kids and start focusing on what kind of kids we are leaving for the world."

The Treadway family does things very differently. We have taken our kids out of school to travel. We teach them how to think and not what to think. We have traditional values. 

There are many ways to parent but I think we have to start looking at the results of our parenting and the results of our current societal problems. Intention isn't as important as the results. We have an entire generation of young people addicted to screens, unable to have conversations, reactive and anxious and depressed. We have young people that think everything about the west is evil and socialism is a good thing. We are ruining our kids and setting them up to be dependant, instead of resilient.
